Our plane had a flat tire
April 4, 2008 by Susan
If all was going as planned, I would be in South Carolina now. Instead, Mimi and I are stranded in Billings, Montana. (I guess I can cross this off as being in yet another state?)
On the plus side, Northwest Airlines is generously putting us up in the tallest hotel in the entire state! If that isn’t impressive enough, it also happens to be the tallest brick and mortar building in the world!
I’d write more about this fascinating place, but I have to get to bed as our new flight leaves at 6:00 tomorrow morning. UGH!
Life is always an adventure with us!

ooohhhh, and it has internet! happy sleeping.
G’night. I hope you wake up to no flat tires.
I’ve been to Billings for a dog show or two. Nice enough place but I wouldn’t want to be stranded there. Good luck on the next leg of your trip!
I’m glad that it was a safe adventure.
I went to Billings once - I was seven. I don’t remember anything about it other than the motel we stayed in. It didn’t have a pool. My sister and I played in the gravel. Hot times!
well, i guess that’s one way to see billings! wishing you ‘buon viaggio’ & ‘benvenuto’ to the south, ’cause i am seriously hoping that you are here by now! enjoy the beautiful spring…
I hope the rest of your trip is blissfully uneventful
UGH! I Don’t Do Mornings either you know! LOL
Never been to Billings. Love the part of Montana I’ve visited and South Carolina is a lovely place!
Have a super trip now that you got the problem out of the way. A bump and the rest should be smooth sailing.
I hope you rested well and suffer no further calamaties. Godspeed.
I am sorry that your flight was delayed. However, I am glad that you are not flying on a plane with a flat tire.
I guess being stranded in Montana is better than being on a plane with a flat tire. I hate having issues when you are flying. All I can say is there better not be any trouble for us when we fly back to Texas from Singapore in May. We arrive the day before daughter no.1 graduates. No time to be jacking around with delays. We can’t leave any earlier ’cause daughter no.2 (the one that reminds me of yours) is still in school and will be missing class for a week.
ug. Glad they put you up in a decent hotel. Hope you reached your destination safely!!!
